TOFU SCRAMBLE- Easy & Delicious


Ingredients:

Tofu (5.5 oz or 440 grams)

1 Onion

1 Tomato

4-5 cremini mushrooms

1-2 handfuls of spinach

½ cup of nutritional yeast

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp black salt

Procedures:

1) Remove as much liquid from tofu by first pouring it into the sink than pressing it either with clean towel or paper towels; his is important for flavor absorption.

2) Dice the onion and tomato, and slice the mushrooms.

3) Add a splash of water to a pan and sauté the onion for 5 minutes or so.

4) Then add in the mushrooms and sauté for an additional 5 minutes.

5) Next add in the tomato and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

6) Now it is time to take your tofu block and start crumbling it into small and medium pieces using your hands.

7) Next it is time add the flavoring by adding thick layer of nutritional yeast to cover up all the tofu, about ½ cup, and mix it up; then add in about 1 tsp of pink Himalayan salt, cumin, garlic powder, pepper, and 1 tbsp of the most important spice black salt as it gives an egg like flavor.

8) Mix it all up and then add in the spinach, cover the pan with a lid and let the spinach wilt.

9) Then it is time to serve and enjoy.
