◗ Ingredients:
½ watermelon
½ lemon (optional)
10 mint leaves (optional)
◗ Procedures:
1) Cut your watermelon in half, save 1 half for later and scoop (or dice) the watermelon from the other.
2) Save the juice of the watermelon while scooping it out
3) Put the watermelon in the freezer for 5-12 hours and the watermelon juice in the fridge
4) Add into the blender cup the watermelon pieces with the watermelon juice, if you would like the juice of ½ a lemon and 10 mint leaves. You can also add 1 cup of ice if you would like it more Icey. Blend until smooth.
5) Serve in glasses to drink directly, or you can serve in a jar to keep in the fridge for when you want a refreshing drink.
6) You can also serve some of the slushy into a popsicle tray if for a frozen treat. Let it sit in the freezer for at least 5 hours to set, and I found that the best way to remove the popsicles from the mold is to run them under a bit of warm water for a few seconds so they pop out easily.
