How to cook oatmeal? - 3 ways to prepare & 3 flavors


Overnight Oatmeal

Ingredients:

½ cup rolled oats

1 tbsp chia seeds

1-2 tbsp PB2

~30 stevia drops

1 ½ cup water or plant-based milk

½ -1 banana

1 tbsp cacao nibs


Procedures:

1. Add the rolled oats into a mason jar, along with the chia seeds, PB2 powder which is or regular peanut butter instead, and the 30 stevia drops (if you chose to use peanut butter don’t add stevia)

2. Mix all the ingredients together in the jar and then add 1 cup of water or plant-based milk of your choice. Give it a stir and close up the lid.

3. Place in the fridge over night or for at least 5 hours.

4. When you are ready to enjoy the oatmeal take it out of the fridge. It will be dense; so, add to it another ½ cup of warm water to get it to a good consistency, as well as, worm it up a bit.

5. Take ½ a ripe banana and slice it up to place on top, along with cacao nibs and drizzle on top of PB2 mixed with water or peanut butter

6. Enjoy!


Stovetop oatmeal

Ingredients:

½ cup oats

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 cup water or plant-based milk

½ - 1 tsp of cinnamon

3-5 walnuts


Procedures:

1. Dicing the apple into small cubes.

2. To a small pot add ½ the apple cubes along with the cinnamon and a splash of water. Cover it up and let it cook on medium heat for 3 minutes or so.

3. Then add into the pot the rolled oats, chia seeds and mix it in with the apples; add the water or plant-based milk, stir, cover with a lid and let cook for 3-5 minutes.

4. Serve it into a bowl and top it with the other half of the apple, a few walnut pieces and a sprinkle of cinnamon

5. Enjoy!


Instant oats

Ingredients:

½ cup oats

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 cup water

~30 stevia drops

1 tbsp of cacao powder

1-2 tbsp of coconut shreds

1-2 tbsp of pumpkin seeds


Procedures:

1. Bring to a boil about a cup of water. Meanwhile to a bowl add the rolled oats along with the chia seeds and mix together.

2. Add the 1 cup of water over the oats, give it a bit of a stir and let it set for 3-5 minutes.

3. Once all the water was absorbed; add the cacao powder along with the stevia drops. Mix the oats until the cacao is fully mixed in.

4. I like to top this one off with some coconut shreds, some dried raspberry, and some pumpkin seeds.

5. Enjoy!
