Buckwheat Pancakes



Ingredients: For batter    * 1 cup buckwheat grouts * 1 cup of plant milk * 1/2 tsp of backing soda * 12-15 stevia drops or 2 tbsp maple syrup * 1/2-1 tsp cinnamon For fillers- Your Choice!  I like:   * Apple * Cacao nibs * Coconut shreds * Walnuts Toppings: Your Choice! I like: * Fruit * Cacao nibs * Coconut shreds * Nuts Maple Syrup For Cooking *Drop of oil


Procedures: 1. The day before/ a few hours earlier: wash well buckwheat grouts, soaked for 4-7 hours, rinsed and washed again until water comes clear 2. To prepare the batter you will add into your blender the buckwheat grouts, milk, backing soda, cinnamon and stevia or maple syrup, then blend it all up 3. Divide your batter into three parts, or how ever many types of pancakes you choose to make. I left one plain, to one I added the apples and to the final one I added the mix of walnuts, cacao nibs and coconut shreds. But this part is totally customizable 4. Heat up a pan and add a tad bit of coconut oil to the pan and wipe the excess with a napkin, keep the napkin to re-oil the pan between rounds 5. Add the batter to the pan and make the pancakes, flip them when you see they are bubbling a bit and the edges are fully cooked 6. Then it is time to serve them up with the toping of your choice and ENJOY!
