Broccoli Patties


◗ Ingredients:

3-4 hefty cups of broccoli

1/2 cup chickpea flour

1/4 cup of almond flour (if you don't have almond flour you can use 3/4 cups chickpea flour)

2 tbsp olive oil (optional)

Season to choice, I like salt and garlic powder

◗ Procedures:

1) Steam broccoli either in water or steaming tray until soft but not too mushy.

2) In a large bowl add the broccoli and mash the broccoli either using a fork, a potato masher or your hands until the florets are really small; don't over mash it.

3) Add in the seasoning you chose along with the optional olive oil and mix it and continue to mash it a bit more until the broccoli is well coated.

4) Add the chickpea and almond flour next and mix it until the broccoli is well coated.

5) Let it sit for 15 minutes to soak all the flavors.

6) Use an ice cream scooper or your hand to scoop part of the batter and create the patties. Place it on a pre-lined baking sheet.

7) Pop it in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes, flipping them over half way through.

8) Let cool and Enjoy. :)
