Apple Crumble


Ingredients: -For Filling *  6 large apples- green or red   *  1 tbsp cinnamon *  Juice from 1/2 a lemon (or 1 lime) - For Crumble *1 1/2 cups of oats (I use gluten free oats)  * 1/2 cup almond meal * 1/2 cup sliced almond * 1/2 cup coconut shreds * 1/3 cup coconut oil (melted) *  1 tbsp cinnamon * 2 tbsp water *   1-2 tbsp maple syrup (depending on sweetness preferences)


Procedures: 1. grate up the apples, either in a food processor by pulsing it or by hand in a grater, or if you like it more chunky you can simply dice your apples into small cubes 2. In a pan put all the grated or diced apples, add the cinnamon and lemon juice and mix well 3. Put into the oven at 320 degrees Fahrenheit (160 degrees Celsius) for 15 minutes 4. While the apples are in the oven, mix in a large bowl all the crumble ingredients and put in fridge for 15 minutes 5. When the apples are ready, take the crumble mix out of the fridge and pour it on top of the apples 6. Return the pan to the oven for another 30 to 35 minutes until its golden and crispy 7. Let cool, cut and enjoy
